  To say we were left unhappy after a job done by Aquaguard is an understatement. In 2018 I asked Brian Whitehead (Managing Director and salesman) if his company “Bird Proofed” solar panels. We were having issues with pigeons nesting under the panels.
  He said he did, he quoted after looking on Google Earth ( 2 story house). We had to take this on trust.
  Mesh was fixed as per the quote – or so we thought!
  When we had a pest control inspection the issues came to light.
  The panels were actually not fully meshed and for 3 years pigeons were nesting under our panels. Lots of pigeon waste and nesting material under the panels and the fitter from Aquaguard actually had used Tec Screws directly into our solar panels – voiding our system warranty!
  Ignored my email and did not accept our letter sent by recorded delivery.
  We called to the office to hand deliver a letter stating the issues and Brian Whitehead was standing outside.
  I said “Brian of Aquaguard SA?”, he instantly said “No that is not me anymore”.
  We passed him the letter which he started to read as we left.
  We have had no contact since, it appears that the actual company Aquaguard (SA) Pty Ltd was de registered last year. So even though he trades under a very, very similar name we have no legal way of getting the company to resolve our issues. Such a shame the legal system allows this “dodging of responsibilty”. So this means that any warranty offered is not worth anything as the company may de register and appear in a similar name. Ask for a personal guarantee for the directors!!!!!
